SUNDAY MORNINGS

Farmdale believes that studying God’s Word is essential to the spiritual growth of believers. Our pastor encourages everyone to get involved in a small group Bible study, so they can grow in their faith. Sunday mornings provide this opportunity for our youth. Each Sunday morning we engage students in age-appropriate Bible study geared toward training young believers to mature in their faith.

On Sunday mornings, students work through curriculum produced by Desiring God. We have chosen this material for a number of reasons:

  • It is written specifically for students.
  • It is challenges students to think deeply about their faith.
  • It is relevant (students are drawn into the study by fun activities and are challenged through tough questions)

Currently, we are studying a series on Truth. The world would have us believe that there are many ways to know truth, but the Bible is clear that there is only one WAY.

Parents, if you would like to follow along with us in our study, please see me for devotional materials that accompany the study.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

The primary purpose of our Wednesday night gathering is Christian fellowship. We pray together, play together, and study together in hopes that we will “spur each other on to love and good deeds.” (Heb. 10:24)

Wednesdays are similar to Sundays in that we focus on the teaching of God’s Word. However, Wednesdays are geared more toward a teaching series. Depending on the week, you might hear messages on anything from sex and dating to how to have a quiet time. We seek to address issues that teenagers are dealing with as they seek to grow in their walk with the Lord.
